Georgetown County First Steps offers you the opportunity to enroll your eligible child in a FREE quality 3-year-old pre-kindergarten program (scholarship applicable). Our county wide network of private, community and faith-based centers are committed to providing a healthy and safe learning environment and preparing your child for school success.
Each 3K Provider is equipped with masks, hand sanitizer, thermal thermometers and other necessary personal protection equipment. All staff adhere to CDC, DSS, and DHEC child care regulations to ensure the utmost safety for all children and adults inside the building. (This program is based on a first come first serve basis)
To qualify your child must:
- Be 3 years old on or before Sept. 1st.
- Be a Georgetown County Resident.
- Attend a licensed center in the Georgetown County
